I had never been on a pilgrimage before. Charlie and Gertie took very good care of us. Glad that we were a small group because we got to know the other pilgrims. Every place we visited was so meaningful. Was so heart-warming to see so many people going to church and Mass. God is good and He listens to His mother. I'm so glad that my brother, Brother Al, asked me to go with him. Meals at Marinko's were fantastic!
I would and have told many about our pilgrimage and encouraged them to make the pilgrimage too. Thank you so much for asking. It has been a faith-energizing experience for me.
My prayers to you,

You are more than welcome to use the following e-mail. Best trip we ever had. Everyone associated with your tour agency were super. Thanks again for a great pilgrimage---Tom.
Dear Lorine: It was great to hear from you. We had a perfect return trip to end our perfect pilgrimage. Lee and I are very thankful that God directed us to you to lead our first pilgrimage. You, Fred and Father Angelo helped to make this a trip of a lifetime. It was great to get home. We do miss you wakeup calls. The trip did give a new outlook on life. We were moved. Further pilgrimages will definitely include you and Fred, God willing. Airport security did seem very interested in the fact that we stopped on our way to the airport. You might need that for future reference. We will keep in touch. God bless you and good luck on your next pilgrimage.

Your customer review form goes from "poor" to "very good", for this trip you need the category "EXCELLENT"...for so it was...Father Ricardo makes the pilgrimage & trip "Awesome". What an honor to be accompanied by such a saintly, spiritual priest. He made us feel so welcome and accepted. Thank you too, Mr. & Mrs. Grove, for all you did to provide a great time. It was my warmest Christmas I've had since losing my husband. God bless you in the new year.
p.s. I would like to return to Rome (with Renaissance, of course) and visit less frequented churches and religious sites there.

A great six days. Puebla was the exact right pick for the first 3 days and night. The itinerary was excellent, so much to see. Angleo, our bus driver was most pleasant and eager to help, we had a nice new coach, trouble-free. Our guide, Arturo, was so knowledegable and helpful in every way. The hotel in Puebla was spiritually nice, the modern hotel in Mexico City second place. All the meals were excellent with plenty of food and variety.
It would be nice to find a hotel in Mexico City that is similar to the Puebla hotel. The difference in spiritual atmosphere would be well worth it. Additionally, unlike Puebla, the Mexico City had no outdoor square nearby. It made such a difference to walk out from the hotel in Puebla and just a few yards away to the Jesuit Church to visit the Blessed Sacrament.

Dear Bob:
Jim and I want to thank you for this trip you put together. It was everything we hoped for and much, much more. Fr. Ricardo is wonderful and all of the guides were knowledgable and very friendly. Our group as a whole were all great people and we made lasting friends. There is nothing we would have changed with the possible exception of our flight to New York, but that was the airlines problem, not yours and in the end it becomes part of the adventure.
God bless,

Fr. Ricardo did a fantastic job--felt fortunate to have sucha a wonderful spiritual director with us. Our drive Seamus as great, knwoledgable and helpful. Really enjoyed the trip---having tw nights accommodations at hotels very helpful. Bus trips rather long, but necessary to cover the planned itinerary. Enjoyed traveling in a small group of 15-20 people.

Dear Bob:
Thank you for putting together the tour to Rome. Everything really went much better than I would have expected. Let me share with you some highlights:
I was VERY impressed with the work which Kuoni did on the Italy end of things. And our Tour Director, Domenico, was absolutely fabulous. He really worked hard but was indefatigable. I really appreciated the way he kept me in the loop on things. Virtually all of our meals were excellent--of course, I am partial to the last one at Abruzzi--and they treated us royally; the lunch in Assisi was a surprising delight! The Hotel Genio was excellent. The location simply can't be beat. And the best air conditioning I have encountered in Europe--once Fr. Don and I realized that it operated by remote control! One of our pilgrims got pick-pocketed at the Colosseum, but they did not follow Domenico's instructions---but Domenico helped them get the credit cards cancelled in 30 minutes. The Papal audience was a highlight, largely because Domenico knew exactly where to position our group.
I would not hesitate to recommend Continental for transatlantic flying--I was impressed. They did not provide the group services they promised on their website (eg, assisting with connections, etc.)but we had no problems with them whatsoever.
The only problem---ROME was overrun with tourists. Even the tour guides could not believe how crowded it was so early. No wonder you had trouble booking a hotel! I don't think I'll ever try Rome again in the summer. I would swear half of the U.S. was there.
Now I am looking forward to Spain next year. My family is having a reunion June 30/July 1. Any chance you might have the dates by then? I would love to give them dates and we need to schedule next year's reunion and I don't want to conflict with the Spain trip.
